About Nant y Blodau Bach

One of a pair of quaint traditional stone cottages nestling on a quiet track on the lower slopes of Carn Ingli, only a 3 minute walk above the centre of Newport with its shops, pubs and restaurants. Nant y Blodau Bach is tastefully furnished throughout in a traditional style with a modern twist, the lounge/diner has low ceilings, beams, Inglenook fireplace and a multi fuel stove for those chillier evenings. The galley style kitchen opens on to a large sheltered and enclosed cottage garden. Stairs lead to the pretty cosy bedrooms in the eaves with wood beams.

A short walk up Carn Ingli will present you with stunning views of this dramatic section of the coastline, with secluded coves and lovely beaches only a 5 minute drive away. A lovely cosy cottage whatever the season.

The charming addition of the garden cabin which is set at the end of the garden accessed via a slate chipping pathway in its own woodland dell is beautifully fitted and comfortably furnished. The open-plan living space has a fitted kitchen area, the wood burning stove ensures it is a cosy retreat in winter. In summer open the bi-fold doors out to your own patio, there are lovely rural views through the trees with even glimpses of the sea from the double bedroom. A lovely peaceful retreat surrounded by nature yet only 20 yards from the cottage.

Garden cabin available from an additional £215 per booking on request.

What a lovely cottage, so comfortable and so well equipped. We had a lovely time using this as a base to visit friends in Newport and walk to the beach. Dylan discovered a new game - chase the seagull. He could not understand why they were not so keen to play with him! We certainly hope to return!

Debra, Adrian, Grace & Rowen Pritchard

A very attractive and comfortable cottage in a superb location. We loved popping down to the bakery for fresh bread and to the deli for delicious cooked ham. We had a great meal at Fronlas Cafe where our 3 and 5 year olds were openly welcomed, visited many of the beaches from Whitesands to Newport Sands. We've found the Newport folk to be really friendly. A very enjoyable week.

Meg & Tom

We enjoyed the cottage - it is very cosy

Ian, Helen & Patch

We love the cottage. The interior design is cosy and nice blend of modern and traditional - love that you have used the work of local artists and crafts men - particularly the blankets from Melin Tregwynt Woolen Mill (well worth a visit). Very well equipped, walks around Pembrokeshire spectacular, breath taking scenery & saw lots of seals and pups

Jan & Dave Pritchard
